We are the Student Government of Seventh College at UC San Diego.

The Seventh College community recognizes that UC San Diego is built on the unceded territory which belongs to the Kumeyaay Nation. We acknowledge that the Kumeyaay are the original people of the land where our campus was built, and hold tremendous respect for the ancestors, land, culture, and traditions of the Kumeyaay Nation. Today, the Kumeyaay people continue to maintain their political sovereignty and cultural traditions as vital members of the San Diego Community. There are 13 Kumeyaay reservations throughout the San Diego County: Campo Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, Viejas Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, Barona Band of Mission Indians, San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians, Inaja-Cosmit Reservation, Capitan Grande Indian Reservation, Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel, Ewiiaapaayp Band of Kumeyaay Indians aka Cuyapaipe, Manzanita Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, La Posta Band of Diegueno Mission Indians, Jamul Indian Village of California of the Kumeyaay Nation, Mesa Grande Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation.
